Kia has launched its own rental service for retail and business customers alike.

Dubbed Kia Rental Flexibly, it is launching at 12 dealerships across the country and will offer every Kia model following after trials of the scheme, which Kia says “has already proved popular for those dealers with business customers.”

Each dealer will be able to make up their own fleet, so cars on offer may be different from dealer to dealer, Kia says.

No prices have been announced, but a Kia spokesperson said the price of hiring the car will vary according to the dealer.

“Kia Rental has had a positive start, we’ve even had one rental customer who was so impressed with the car he came back and bought it. The overriding feedback from customers has been that service not price counts. Kia Rental reflects a grown-up attitude to business’ fleet needs,” said John Hargreaves, head of fleet and remarketing at Kia.
