Vauxhall has announced technical updates for its Corsa Electric.
The Corsa Electric Long Range now offers a WLTP range of up to 266 miles, an increase from the previous 252 miles, which Vauxhall says is thanks to advancements in nickel-manganese-cobalt battery technology and increased drivetrain efficiency.
In addition, Vauxhall has announced the introduction of vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality with the Long Range model, allowing energy from the car’s EV battery to be used to power external devices up to 3.6kW and 16A, such as power tools or camping equipment.
The new Corsa Electric Long Range is available now, with prices starting at £28,900, while the new V2L functionality will be available from next month.
