A newly-upgraded version of a roadside safety device has been introduced.
The Be Seen Screen is designed to be placed behind vehicles stopped at the side of the road, as an alternative to the traditional warning triangle.
Among the new upgrades to the product are a new and more reflective design, an improved sticking mechanism for attaching to vehicles, four language cards that can be used to alter the screen when driving abroad, and a new ‘eco-friendly’ storage container.
Managing director Richard Edwards said: “We have all the stock, it’s all been approved by Millbrook, and we’re excited to get going with fleet companies.”
Edwards said a deal had just been agreed with the fleet of Miele, which he was hoping would subsequently be extended to the company’s operations in mainland Europe.
He also said he was encouraged by news that Spain would be banning the use of warning triangles by 2026, adding: “We feel the rest of Europe will follow and make that part of their laws.”
