Hyundai is re-enforcing the i30’s role as its strongest-selling fleet model by launching the second-generation of its hatchback with six low-CO2 and high-mpg Blue Drive diesel variants when it is launched on 12 March.

The new i30 uses a 1.6-litre diesel engine at the centre of its business car strategy with two 97g/km 110hp models and a pair of 100g/km 128hp counterparts across the range’s four specification levels.

Hyundai claims the two 97g/km cars are the cleanest CO2-rated lower medium diesels on sale in the UK.

The second-generation range is priced between £14,495 and £20,795, with the Blue Drive models carrying a £750 premium over parallel 1.4-litre 90hp models.
