Hyundai has revealed its new i20 Turbo Edition hatchback model and has confirmed it will cost from £12,975 when it enters showrooms later this month.

The i20 Turbo will be powered by Hyundai’s 100hp 1.0-litre three-cylinder unit which emits 104g/km of CO2, meaning it fits within the 17% BIK band.

Based on the i20‘s SE trim level standard kit includes Bluetooth, DAB radio, cruise control, a rear view camera and sat-nav, which is housed within a seven-inch touchscreen.

The i20 Turbo Edition joins the firm’s hatchback line-up, which is priced from £10,995 for the 75hp 1.2-litre petrol engine in ‘S’ trim, while the most frugal model – a 75hp 1.1-litre diesel – emits 84g/km of CO2, returns 88.3mpg and is priced from £12,745.

Hyundai also offers the i20 in coupe form (priced from £13,025 and as the jacked-up Active model, which is priced from £15,225.
