The new plug-in hybrid Skoda Superb iV is now available to order, with prices starting from £31,915.
The Superb iV is the brand’s first electrified model and combines a 1.4-litre TSI engine with an 85kW electric motor for a combined output of 218hp.
Thanks to the electric assistance, official emissions for the large saloon and estate car will be less than 40g/km, which results in a low BIK rate of 10%. In pure electric mode, the Superb iV can manage 35 miles on the WLTP cycle.
Prices start from £31,915 for the SE Technology trim, which is exclusive to business customers. There are three further trim levels: SE L, SportLine Plus, and the range topping L&K.
Even the base SE Technology comes as standard with leather seats, full-LED matrix headlights, full-LED taillights and Skoda’s 8in touch screen infotainment system.
This new system, called MIB3, was introduced with the 2019 facelift and features an in-built SIM card for data and wireless connection for SmartLink and Apple CarPlay, as well as real-time traffic information and online support.
