Honda has revised its FR-V mini-MPV with a new engine as well as subtle exterior tweaks.

The six-seater FR-V, with two rows of three, gets the new 1.8-litre petrol engine launched earlier this year in the Civic hatchback. The 140PS unit replaces both the current 1.7- and 2.0-litre engines.

On the outside, the FR-V now has a new dark chrome grille, while headlights, door handles and rear lights have all been tweaked.

On the inside, the wood trim has been replaced by a carbon-effect finish, while the front central seat tray now features extra storage. The car also has an iPod auxiliary jack. The revised mini-MPV arrives in the UK next April, and makes its first public appearance at the Paris motor show later this month.
