Hyundai has appointed Guy Pigounakis as its new fleet director, while current fleet director, Martin Wilson, takes up the role of sales director.

Pigounakis is currently sales director at Hyundai, and the South Korean car maker said his “extensive sales experience” will help to develop the firm’s fleet operations.

Wilson’s responsibilities, meanwhile, will include sales operations, sales and market planning and managing the firm’s Tilbury import centre.

Hyundai said the senior management changes were made as part of the company’s ambitions to hit more than 100,000 sales and gain a 5% market share in the UK by 2020.
