Aberdeen-based energy company Richard Irvin Energy Solutions has appointed Fleet Alliance to manage its fleet of 220 light commercial vehicles and 25 cars.

Fleet Alliance is looking after the company’s accident management account, while it said Richard Iwin is considering introducing Fleet Alliance’s e-fleet mobile app for users in the future.

Fleet Alliance also said it is introducing competitive tendering for all new vehicles added to the fleet, allowing company funders to tender for every new model. The fleet management company claimed competitive tendering could reduce acquisition costs by up to 10%.

“Our aim is to have a consistent approach to fleet management across the business and regional offices and Fleet Alliance is able to create a tailor-made proposal for the management of our fleet requirements,” said Richard Irvin supply chain manager, Chris Curtis.
