Seat has revealed a facelifted version of its Alhambra MPV ahead of its UK debut in the summer will be announced in May when it will be available to pre-order.
The Alhambra’s engine line-up has been redeveloped to meet the Euro 6 emissions standard. Seat said its direct-injection units are 15% cleaner than before with the 150hp 2.0-litre diesel emitting 130g/km CO2 and returning 57.8mpg.
The 2.0-litre diesel is also offered in 184hp guise while a 150hp 1.4-litre petrol is available.
The Alhambra’s design has been updated slightly with new LED lights at the rear, new wheels and the Seat logo is set further back into the grille. Inside, the Alhambra comes with a new infotainment system, which Seat claimed is quicker than the previous generation.
A multi-collision brake system is standard which includes an automatic braking system, blind spot sensor and dynamic chassis control.
The Alhambra is Seat’s version of the VW Sharan MPV, which was revealed earlier this year.
