Renault has shown its fourth-generation Scenic MPV ahead of its debut at next week’s Geneva motor show.

Details are scant at present, but the French car maker said the new model will feature a raised ground clearance when compared to the current generation model, and new LED lights.

Renault claimed the fourth-generation Scenic will “provide a completely fresh take on the compact MPV”, and will feature a three-part windscreen for increased visibility.

According to Renault, since its introduction in 1996, nearly five million units have been sold worldwide.
