Volkswagen has introduced a pair of new trim levels for the upper medium Passat known as Executive and Executive Style.
They replace the outgoing Highline, Sport and R-Line trims and sit above the entry-level S and Bluemotion models.
Executive adds new 17-inch alloy wheels, exterior chrome trim and matt black roof rails on the estate model.
Inside, it adds satnav and electrically adjustable, heated leather seats to the DAB radio, USB and iPhone cables and Bluetooth that is already standard on the S model.
An auto-dimming rear-view mirror, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control and automatic lights and wipers make up the rest of the equipment on the Executive trim. Volkswagen claims it adds over £1700 of equipment and costs £200 more than the Highline model it replaces.
Executive Style adds 18-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, front fog lights and tinted rear glass and 15mm lower sports suspension. It costs £995 more than the Executive trim.
Both trim levels are available to order now across the Passat range and start at £20,235 and £21,585 respectively.
