Fiat has announced upgraded technology and a simplified range for its 500X crossover.
Cars from Pop Star trim level up will now come with the Uconnect infotainment system, featuring a 7in touchscreen, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
The system also offers: Bluetooth interface with hands-free capability; audio streaming; text message reader; voice recognition; and Uconnect Live services including music streaming with Deezer and TuneIn, news from Reuters, and connected navigation with TomTom Live.
The 500X is now available in a choice of three trim levels – Pop, Pop Star and Cross Plus.
There is a choice of three petrol engines – a 1.6-litre with 110hp and 1.4-litres with 140hp and 170hp – and two diesel engines – a 1.6-litre with 120hp and a 2.0-litre with 140hp.
Standard equipment levels can be upgraded with a choice of packs, including the Cold Weather pack, which comes with a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats and wiper area, or the City pack, which adds electrically folding and heated door mirrors, and a rear parking camera.
Marching Green paint is also now available on Cross Plus models.
The updated range is available to order now, with prices starting at £15,550 for a 1.6-litre petrol in Pop trim.
