Evyve has become the tenth EV charging network compatible with Zap-Pay, the charging payment service from Zapmap.
Evyve has more than 200 UK chargers, primarily at retail and leisure outlets, business parks and restaurants.
Other charging providers compatible with Zap-Pay include Osprey, ESB Energy, Char.gy, GeniePoint, Mer, MFG EV Power, Fastned, Alfa Power, and Connected Kerb.
Zapmap commercial director Alex Earl said: “Not so long ago, we heard a message coming loud and clear from electric car drivers across the UK – make paying for charging simple. “That was exactly why we launched Zap-Pay, and set about signing up key charging networks up and down the country.
“As the tenth network to go live on Zap-Pay, I’m very pleased that Evyve has now come online as a fully-fledged payment partner. With usage levels of Zap-Pay continually increasing, we expect to see Zap-Pay utilisation jump still further as the summer progresses.”
Evyve CEO James Moat said: “We are pleased to see this integration go live and delighted to finally add our network to the Zap-Pay platform.
“We already consider Zapmap an important partner for charge point identification and route planning, but it is great to see progressive tools such as Zap-Pay being developed in-house to really tie the offering together and provide a great mobility service to the public.”
