Engine cleaning company EDT Automotive is looking for a small fleet to trial its new engine detox machine.

The hand-built machine takes 15 minutes to flush an engine removing carbon, metallic particles and sludge.

EDT claims the results are close to doing a manual engine strip, with fuel economy increased by up to 20% and power increased by up to 6hp.

The company also claims harmful emissions are significantly reduced with CO down an average 66% and diesel smoke by an average 58%.

David Holmes, managing director at EDT Automotive, said: “This is a unique opportunity for a UK fleet company to enjoy the benefits of our engine treatment at a heavily discounted rate.

“Basically, we’re offering to reduce their running costs in exchange for a case study to show other fleet operators. If you’d like to work with us, please call me on 01233 712 341 or email david@edtautomotive.com.”
