Gilles Michel, managing director at Citroen, has revealed that the French car manufacturer will be further cutting emissions levels across its range of cars.
Talking at the launch of the Citroen C3 Picasso, Michel revealed that there were a number of plans currently underway to help the manufacturer take “the next step for CO2 emissions”, although wouldn’t commit to the launch of any hybrid models at this stage.
The company also confirmed that, like the C2 and regular C3 models, a stop-start version of the C3 Picasso mini-MPV will follow the standard car’s launch in the UK in the first half of 2009.
