Holiday firm Center Parcs has purchased a fleet of 35 electric and low-CO2 vehicles to be based at its new site in Woburn Forest, Bedfordshire.

Managed by fleet management firm CLM, the fleet includes nine Renault Kangoo ZE electric vans and three Toyota Auris Hybrids, the latter of which are used as pool cars.

The models, which also include diesel vans and minibuses, conform to Center Parcs’ fleet policy, which states that no petrol vehicles are to be used at all, diesel vehicles must meet the latest EU emissions standards, and EVs are to be used wherever possible.

Mike Henderson, projects manager, operations at Center Parcs, said: “We want to. consistently reduce our carbon footprint wherever practically possible.”
