Fleet management company CBVC and EV provider Electrix are expanding their partnership to include business contract hire vehicles.
Until now Electrix has only catered for personal customers, with the move to include businesses said to have been prompted by corporate ESG agendas, as well as demand for a cost-effective electrification option from SMEs, and the favourable BIK tax rates available to electric company car drivers.
CBVC managing director Mike Manners said: “We are really pleased to add business contract hire to the Electrix offering. Our 20 years of fleet management experience means that we’re perfectly positioned to support Electrix business customers.
“The ESG agenda is so important for businesses right now and the transition to electric vehicles is a core part of that.
“We’ve already helped many customers to decarbonise their fleets and we’re looking forward to supporting more businesses to make the switch.”
