Cadillac has released pictures of its first-ever estate car, the BLS Wagon.
On sale at the end of this year, the Wagon will use the same engines as its BLS saloon sibling: the 150PS 1.9 diesel, 2.0-litre petrol in 175 and 210PS forms, and the range-topping 255PS 2.8 V6 petrol.
“This is the first Cadillac wagon in our 104-year history, and we think it will do well in many European markets where consumers desire a high degree of versatility and functionality in their performance luxury vehicles,” said Cadillac boss Jim Taylor.
Cadillac is hoping the new estate kick-starts interest in the brand that has struggled to appear on the radar in the UK, with less than 400 cars finding homes last year.
GM is about to take on fleet responsibility for Cadillac, adding it to the Saab, Vauxhall and Chevrolet portfolio it already operates.
