The BusinessCar Fleet Technology Awards, or Techies, are back for a third year.
After last year’s success in building on 2009’s inaugural awards, the 2011 Techies launch today, offering fleet suppliers the chance to be branded best in the business in the industry’s only technology awards.
The awards are designed to highlight the companies offering the most impressive technical developments in the business car industry across a dozen categories covering every element of the market.
For 2011, we’ve introduced a couple of new categories in order to reflect the fast-moving world of technology. Best App recognises the growing business in mobile-based applications designed to make life easier for the business car community, while the Innovation Award is open to all areas of technological ingenuity not catered for in one of the other 11 classes. Anything from car manufacturers’ in-car entertainment wizardry to technological genius from suppliers is eligible.
Companies that feel their technology gives them a shot at being branded best in the business across one of the categories need to simply justify in no more than 300 words why their system or equipment helps fleets do their job cheaper, safer, quicker, easier, more efficiently or greener. Entries should be sent to editorial@businesscar.co.uk with the subject line ‘Techies’. All the information is on the BusinessCar Techies website.

The closing date for entries and nominations is 5pm on Friday 15 July, so there’s plenty of time to get entries in before the summer holidays begin!
