BT Fleet has scored a pair of sole-supplier fleet management deals.
The first is a five-year contract with the Post Office, which will see the leasing and fleet management firm take on 470 vehicles, which will handle UK cash deliveries and work as mobile post offices.
The second is a four-year tie up to manage Wales and West Utilities’ fleet. The organisation operates the gas distribution network throughout Wales and the South-West of England and runs a 1200-strong fleet. The contract also sees BT Fleet absorb responsibility for the fleet supplier network.
Both the Post Office and Wales and West Utilities cited the company’s large garage network and ability to cut vehicle downtime as reasons for the contract wins.
