BMW has confirmed UK launch details for the iX3, its new electric SUV.
The model, based on the conventionally-engined X3, will arrive in summer 2021, but is available to order now.
It features a 286hp electric motor, and will cover a range of up to 279 miles on the WLTP cycle.
Two equipment grades will be available at launch – Premier Edition and Premier Edition Pro.
Standard features of Premier Edition include 20in wheels, an automatic tailgate, adaptive suspension, a panoramic sunroof, electric heated seats and wireless phone charging.
Also standard is BMW’s Live Cockpit Professional system, featuring a 12.3in digital instrument cluster and a 10.25in infotainment screen.
In addition, there’s the Driving Assistant Professional package and Parking Assistant.
Further equipment with the Premier Edition Pro grade includes a head-up display, Harman Kardon surround sound system, gesture control, Parking Assistant Plus, automatic high beam, and IconicSounds Electric, designed to give acoustic feedback to different vehicle states while driving.
Prices for the iX3 start at £61,900 for the Premier Edition, and rise to £64,900 for the Premier Edition Pro.
