BMW has announced updates to its 3 Series upper-medium car line-up.
Among the changes is the introduction of higher-voltage batteries to the plug-in hybrid versions, said to allow an EV-only range of up to 63 miles on the WLTP cycle.
Also introduced is BMW’s latest Operating System 8.5, which works in conjunction with an upgraded iDrive control system, and features new sat-nav functions including augmented view.
New exterior paint colours are available, as are new alloy wheel and steering wheel designs.
BMW also says changes have been made to the model’s suspension, with the aim of increasing ride comfort.
Prices for the updated 3 Series start at £39,045 for a saloon, and £40,845 for a Touring estate.
Production will begin in July, with the first UK deliveries due this summer.
