German maker Audi has finally published pricing for the eagerly awaited all-new A4 that is set to create havoc in BMW 3-series heartland.

Initially, only the SE spec will be available with pricing beginning at £22,590 for the base 160PS 1.8T engine, rising to £30,290 for the powerful 240PS 3.0 TDi Quattro.

Kit-count is high, with SE’s including, as standard, 17-inch alloys, climate control, parking sensors and Audi’s ‘MMI’ driver interface to control minor functions.

Business-friendly options like satnav costs £1975, while those fancying a fanned derriere can splash out on ‘Climate Comfort seats’ for a cool £3940.

The first deliveries begin in the spring.
