Chevrolet UK has announced an unexpected change of management.

Long-standing managing director Mark Terry has left the company “to pursue other opportunities” according to the firm.

He has been replaced by Andy Higgins, who has already assumed the role and has held a number of top-ranking positions within Chevrolet’s parent company General Motors.

Higgins, who will report in to Cesari Prati, executive director for sales at Chevrolet Europe, has previously been based in GM’s European offices in Zurich, Frankfurt and Budapest, responsible for sales and aftersales.

He has also worked in dealer network development, finance and customer service.
