Alfa Romeo has confirmed UK specs and prices for the 48V hybrid version of its Junior small SUV.
The Ibrida powertrain features a 136hp petrol engine with a 21kW gearbox-integrated electric motor, which allows EV-only driving at low speeds or under light loads, and also provides assistance to the petrol engine.
The powertrain is being made available with a single spec, which features equipment such as 17in alloy wheels, LED headlights and tail lights, rear parking sensors, a 10.25in digital instrument cluster, a 10.25in infotainment screen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.
The Ibrida variant joins the Junior range alongside the pure EV Elettrica, Elettrica Speciale, and Elettrica Veloce versions with which the model launched last year.
The Junior Ibrida is priced at £27,895. Orders are due to open later this month.
