ALD Automotive has signed a three-year deal with construction, infrastructure and design firm Morgan Sindall Group to manage its 2400-strong fleet in the UK.

As sole supplier, ALD will deliver a range of services to Morgan Sindall including its telematics system ProFleet2, FuelEx, ALD’s new mileage-capture and fuel deduction system, and PoolFleet to provide short-term vehicles for temporary staff or those in their trial period. ALD will also supply the business with DriveSafe, its risk management products.

ALD won a tender process after Morgan Sindall deemed the firm best-suited to meet its key objectives of delivering reduced total cost of ownership and reducing carbon emissions in line with its corporate social responsibility strategy.

Morgan Sindall group procurement director Graham Edgell said: “ALD Automotive consistently demonstrated as part of the tender process that they have the experience of managing large fleets of vehicles, whilst also being able to deliver improved cost savings as part of a thorough total cost of ownership programme.”

He added: “Reducing levels of fleet emissions is of great importance to the organisation and, once again, ALD Automotive demonstrated that they have the knowledge and the technology to support us in ensuring that emissions are kept to a minimum.”
