Skoda has added two new trim level specifications to its Octavia hatchback and estate model range – SE Sport and SE Technology.
Building on standard models, these latest additions to the range aim to please those looking for a sporty design or more in-car technology to make life easier on the road for company car drivers.
SE Sport models add LED daytime running lights, sports seats, sporty bumpers, an automatic dimming rear-view mirror and a satnav. The new trim is priced from £19,995 – £950 more than the entry-level SE trim – with the options costing £3150 normally.
The SE Technology line replaces the SE Business trim level, costs from £19,925 and includes a satnav with wifi, adaptive cruise control and front and rear parking sensors. The new trim commands a premium of £275 over the outgoing model.
SE Sport models are available with the 150hp 1.4-litre petrol (which emits 112g/km – 118g/km of CO2 and returns 55.4mpg) and 110hp 1.6-litre (100-101g/km, returns 80.7mpg) diesel engine with the option of manual or automatic gearboxes, while SE Technology variants are powered by a 110hp 1.6-litre diesel (101-102g/km of CO2, returns 80.7mpg) and a 150hp 2.0-litre diesel unit (114-119g/km, returns 70.6mpg) in automatic and manual guises.
