Citroen has revealed a new version of its C3 supermini.
The French firm claims the Ford Fiesta rival is “set to shake-up the market” thanks to its “highly customisable character” including the ability to share photos and videos while on the move from a camera.
Citroen is unable to confirm when it will go on sale in the UK.
Power comes from three petrol engines in 68hp, 82hp and 111hp guises. Diesel-wise, a 75hp engine and a 100hp option is available.
The exterior of the vehicle now features airbump panels, as first featured on the C4 Cactus in order to help protect the car from damage in urban environments.
The new C3 also includes daytime running lights, while the front bumper now blends into the rest of the vehicle’s body; the French firm claims this gives the car a crossover look.
Inside, the C3 has a choice of finishes including elements that can be painted, wrapped with textiles or finished with chrome, while boot space is rated at 300 litres – the same as the outgoing model.
The C3 also features a seven-inch touchscreen media system, and a number of driving aids including a reversing camera, hill-start assist, a lane departure warning tool, a blind-spot monitoring system and a driver attention alert tool.
