Skoda will be appearing at BusinessCar Live to demonstrate how fast its model range is improving.

Visitors to the show will get an early chance to try out the excellently received new Fabia supermini, which went on sale last month, as well as the new Scout off-road versions of the Octavia and Roomster.

The Fabia is the car that really put Skoda on the map, and this latest generation car is another huge step forward, taking the Czech brand onto the same level as Vauxhall’s Corsa and the Renault Clio.

The popular Octavia vRS will also be available in new 170PS diesel form, so business drivers will have the opportunity to try a car that looks sporty but won’t hit them in the pocket. It will be joined by the Roomster supermini-MPV, launched last year, giving visitors the chance to have a proper poke around and drive.

Skoda’s new raised Scout variants of the Octavia and Roomster will be at the show, too.

Skoda grew its fleet business again last year, passing Saab and Volvo to grab a place in the top 15 fleet manufacturers. The Octavia outsold the likes of Citroen’s C4 and the BMW 1-series on the way to a place in the top 40 models, and the Fabia only just missed out on a place in the top 50 fleet models despite being in its run-out year.
