Winning by a landslide this year, the firm’s system is available for free, no matter how big the company is or how many vehicles are leased through the Scottish-headquartered business, unlike some competitors who price their system according to how big the fleet is.
The firm’s MiiFleet Showroom also shows your entire fleet on a single page, which means fleet managers don’t have to waste time scrolling through several pages to find a specific vehicle.
It uses a traffic light system to highlight possible problems on the homepage, which the firm said negates the need to run reports to ascertain what may need attention, while notifications can be sent directly to drivers’ mobiles, ensuring simplicity and saving time.
Ogilvie claims that, unlike other fleet management systems, its solution is updated on a regular basis, with recent tweaks including a new grey fleet section. This allows managers to see the status of documentation at a glance, including when the vehicle was last serviced and when the next one is due, proof a car has a valid road fund licence and is correctly insured and driver licence information.
Employees are able to upload relevant bits of information to their fleet manager after receiving a notification, meaning managers don’t have to manually chase drivers for documents.
Managers are also able to single out problem drivers by the number of points they have on their licence, with drivers without any points being displayed in green, those with 1-6 in amber and those with seven or more flagged up in red.
