Enterprise is now established as the dominant force in the Daily Rental category of the BusinessCar Awards, picking up a ninth consecutive victory to leave the firm on the verge of a decade of success.
Last year, the company made moves to expand its seven-day opening, which had traditionally only been at airport sites. It received a strong response from corporate customers looking to make an early start on a Monday morning and appreciating the ability to get hold of a rental car on the Sunday afternoon.
Although it’s been in the UK for more than 20 years, Enterprise has only recently expanded into Europe. That’s given it a fresh perspective on the importance of railway station locations, something the company hadn’t really locked onto until it began operating in France and Spain.
Enterprise was also acquisitional in 2014, taking on the huge 17,000 van-focused fleet of Burnt Tree Vehicle Rental. Burnt Tree is expected to be part of Enterprise’s Flex-e-Rent branding. A spokesman for Enterprise said the deal creates “a combined entity that has a huge potential for growth”.
