Lex has dominated the best leasing company category in our awards for eight out of the past nine years.

This year’s phenomenal continuation in form also marks the fifth year of growth for the leasing giant that sees it tip the scales with in excess of 178,000 vehicles in its fleet – an enormous amount.

If that’s not enough to put a smile on the affable face of Lex boss Jon Walden, he will also celebrate a stunning 20% increase in profits – but should he be cautious of his organisation’s rapid growth?

Walden replies: “The reason we have been able to grow is there has been a rigorous process with measures firmly in place, but even then, we could have the best process in the world but we wouldn’t have a prayer if we didn’t have the best people.”

Crucial to the success of Lex is its ability to deliver a high quality level of service to demanding clients.

“Lex is not just one big amorphous corporation; it has been broken down into smaller parts. At the customer front it can act as a small business, a way of delivering great service,” concludes Walden.
