1 What was your first job?
At 15 I was hand-making signs for local businesses.

A blue, 1973 Morris Marina 1.3 Coupe with plastic seats, and a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV as part of our official charging partnership with Mitsubishi UK.
3 What did you listen to on your last car journey?
Aurora’s Running With The Wolves – downloaded after hearing her featured on Jo Whiley’s Radio 2 show.
4 What do you wish you could do better?
Time management.
5 What’s your biggest achievement?
Setting up Charging Solutions [electric and plug-in vehicle charging product supplier] from scratch in 2010 and selling the business to Chargemaster in 2014.
6 What are your three favourite films?
Godfather 1, Godfather 2, Godfather 3.
7 What’s the stupidest thing you’ve done?
My kids say I am very clumsy – so there is a list!
8 What was the most hotly debated topic at your last meeting?
Continuation of the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (Department for Transport) funding for EVs.
9 What would be your specialist subject on Mastermind?
Electric and plug-in vehicle charging.
10 What’s the worst thing about your job?
Getting up at 5am to be in Luton before 9am.
11 What one law would you make or change?
That we should all be driving ultra-low emission vehicles by 2015.
12 What did you want to be when you grew up?
An airline pilot – then I found out I was colour blind!
13 Who is your ideal celebrity date?
My partner Michelle will understand this, but it has to be actress Patsy Kensit (she’s her doppelganger).
