Industry giant Enterprise is no stranger to accepting this award, as 2013 marks its fourth win in as many years.
Despite manufacturer’s varying attitudes to the channel as a way of shifting volumes of vehicles, the industry is increasingly presenting itself as a viable option for business travel, particularly to the public sector, which is slowly but surely cashing in on the savings offered by renting vehicles in favour of grey fleet operation in some circumstances.
Switched on as it is, Enterprise has developed a series of new services designed to foster this demand, which has no doubt contributed to its success in our awards. Rob Ingram, director of business rental at Enterprise, told BusinessCar: “Businesses and public sector organisations have shown huge interest in car sharing and hourly rental initiatives over the last year. They’re a flexible, cost-effective way to provide vehicles for short journeys and can easily replace both pool cars and the grey fleet.”
