The AA has scooped the Accident Management award for the second consecutive year, keeping major rival RAC at bay.
Director of AA Business Services David Wallace (pictured) said: “We are a fully fleet-focused company, and as a result we believe business drivers trust us to look after them and their customers when things go wrong.”
He added that in 2010 the company saw “significant growth” in its service following the launch of its accident management Invictus system and online customer portal Invictus Online, “both of which ease the process of dealing with claims, resulting in reduced downtime and costs”.
Wallace said: “The customer care ethos of the AA flows into AA Accident Management, which in turn enables us to provide real care and bespoke assistance to customers who use our service.
“In 2011 our focus is to continue to interlink all the different services we offer to business drivers, in terms of roadside assistance, risk management and accident management. This will give us the ability to provide assistance pre-accident, post-accident and with the management of the incident itself.
“We will also develop claim management capabilities further by utilising the skills across the whole of our business for the benefit of our customers, providing a true ‘one-stop shop’ and differentiating us further.”
