EuroNCAP has published the latest bout of its crash test reports.
The results show that 14 of the 15 new cars tested achieved a five-star rating, comprising the Fiat 500L, facelifted Ford Fiesta, Ford Kuga, Hyundai Santa Fe, Mercedes A-class, Mitsubishi Outlander, Vauxhall Mokka, Seat Leon, Skoda Rapid, Seat Toledo, Subaru Forester, Range Rover, Volvo V60 plug-in hybrid and the new VW Golf.
The only car not to receive a full five-star rating was the Dacia Lodgy, which scored three stars and was criticised for its Budget, cost-cutting approach to safety.
