We’ve swapped our i40 Tourer for a saloon in an effort to get more of a measure of Hyundai‘s key fleet model.
The four-door is all but identical in most areas, the exception being the rear of the cabin, which isn’t short on legroom but compromises headroom for a steeply sloping roofline. There isn’t the same luggage room of course, but as saloons go the i40 is among the class best for boot space at 525 litres.
The estate costs an extra £1250 in P11D, but both cars are well tailored to fleet drivers, so unless you’re really watching CPM, it’s a case of picking the most appropriate version.
