Hardly a week goes by without some sort of awards ceremony or gong appearing courtesy of an organisation within the motor industry, and with that in mind, you might be asking what is so special about the BusinessCar Awards.
What sets our winners apart from the vast majority of others is that they’re voted for by you, the readers of our magazine, website and email newsletters.
We at BusinessCar have no control over the results of the awards, as voting is managed via a secure online system. That means they’re chosen by those who work in the fleet industry and actually live with the cars, products and services every day, rather than a panel of judges looking from the outside in.
Any company that gets a mention in the forthcoming pages is obviously doing an exceptional job, but our headline awards are the most coveted of the lot. One car manufacturer in particular has dominated this year’s top gongs, as it did in 2011, but the Business Car of the Year is an interesting choice and marks a change in attitude by fleet users, who are now looking at more compact alternatives to the more traditional fleet saloons.
Many winners are more than familiar, one having clung to its award for a staggering 19 years, but there are still new faces to be found, proving that the fleet community isn’t always content to settle for the status quo, no matter how good a particular brand or product might be.
To find out which cars and services suppliers reign supreme with business car users in 2012 go to the BusinessCar Awards.
