We’ve waxed lyrical on the Volvo V60’s mystical abilities to defy its size and weight with cleanliness and economy before, but one thing that struck me during a recent stint of motorway coverage was its capacity to carry on without the need to fill up.
At 67.5 litres, the fuel tank is pretty massive to say the least, and if the trip computer is to be believed, the car is able to cover well in excess of 700 miles on a single tank. We’ve managed 611 between fills with fuel to spare, but suffice to say I’m usually oblivious to the sight of most petrol stations.
