Volvo has paid attention to rear-seat passengers in the V60, providing a variety of options for comfort and practicality.
If there’s a fifth passenger, residing in the middle back seat, there is a headrest that can be adjusted up and down at the touch of a button. If, however, you have just two hyperactive children (or adults) in the back, the central compartment between the two main seats is larger than most and has plenty of space for different functions. At its most basic level it pulls down to provide a simple slightly cushioned armrest with enough room for two elbows (and no fighting). Flip open another part and it becomes a relatively deep tray for books/games/sweets. Or open it out further for more tray space plus two well-positioned drink holders. The contraption not only helps prevent mess but is likely to help keep at bay the arguments that often happen occur in the back of the car on longer summer holiday journeys.
