Bristol Chamber of Commerce has expressed its concern over the City Council’s plans to introduce a workplace parking charge.
“We as a Chamber of Commerce have always been fundamentally against another charge that puts another cost on businesses,” Nigel Hutchings of the Chamber of Commerce told BusinessCar.
“We would prefer a congestion charge if it had to be one or the other, we felt a congestion charge spreads the cost further.” Hutchings did, though, admit that a congestion charge would cost more to implement.
