Green Road has added new functions to its fleet driver performance and safety management system, GreenRoad 360.

It claims the enhancements improve fuel efficiency and reduce fleet crashes.

Posted Speed Performance aims to cut down speed violations by capturing incidents where vehicles exceed speed limits and mapping the details. Integrated with the GreenRoad Central web-based management dashboard, it features colour-coded graphics and can be customised for specific fleet policies.

Glenn Pereira, director of product marketing for GreenRoad, said: “Speeding is a major contributor to fleet crash incidents and can increase fuel consumption. Because speeding on city and residential streets is often riskier than speeding on motorways, managing posted speed performance is a key requirement for most fleets.”

The Unique Idling Heat Maps function gives fleet managers an at a glance view of idling hotspots on specific routes and the expanded data integration capability delivers a new set of application programme interfaces for integration with partner and customer systems, including live data delivery such as GPS.
