Accident prevention charity Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and insurance business Allianz Commercial have extended their partnership by signing a two-year deal to promote risk management for company fleets.
The two have collaborated since 2007 with RoSPA providing Allianz with a range of services offering guidance on managing operational road risk at preferential rates.
RoSPA has now made three additional services available to Allianz: Eco-Driving advises on how to make savings through more economical driving techniques; Licence Check allows customers to check employees’ driving licences online; Driver Profiler Managed Service is a risk assessment method where RoSPA manages the back of house administration.
RoSPA claimed the ECO-Driving course would enable customers to make a positive contribution to the environment while cutting fuel costs by at least 10%.
Jon Dye, commercial motor manager at Allianz, said: “In the current economic climate many businesses will be looking to cut back but it is important they do not compromise on safety. By investing in risk management there are many long-term savings to be made.”
