Peugeot‘s facelifted lower medium 308 goes on sale in May and will offer emissions as low as 98g/km CO2.
The brand’s micro-hybrid e-HDi stop/start technology coupled with the 1.6-litre 112hp diesel means sub-100g/km emissions,
Starting at £15,245, there will be four petrol engines: a 1.4 98hp, 1.6 120, 156 and 200hp and four diesels: a 1.6 92 and 112hp and a 2.0 150 and 163hp.
The car is available in three bodystyles (hatchback, CC and SW) and four trims (Access, SR, Active and Allure). A range-topping hatchback and CC THP 200 model will also be available in a single GT trim level.
Peugeot said the car’s styling elements are already seen on the Peugeot 508 and SR1 concept car.
Since launch in September 2007 more than 84,000 308 models have been sold in the UK, making it the second most popular Peugeot model.
