One of my favourite things about the E-class is the sheer number of little touches designed to make life just a smidgen easier.
The hold function on the brake is one such example. It’s perfect for lazy people like me that
spend too much time in urban driving. Instead of reaching for the foot-operated parking brake every time, a simple full-on prod of the brake pedal engages an automatic holding system that disengages as soon as you touch the accelerator. It’s only when you’ve got it that you realise just how often you use it.
