Volvo is adding to its fleet sales team by using outsourced company Auto XP to target small and medium-sized firms.

With a particular push towards the new S60, the six-strong group will complement the existing Volvo team of six to seek out new business.

“We have a higher penetration of the big 100-plus car fleets and need to do better on SME fleets,” said UK boss Peter Rask. “It’s natural for our fleet team to fish where the fish are.”

The team from Auto XP, “which specialise in dealing with fleet customers on brands’ behalf”, will visit fleet operators to showcase the S60.
