The new coalition Government’s emergency Budget will take place on 22 June.
The Conservative/Liberal Democrat agreement announced last week included detail that a Budget, the first to be delivered by new chancellor George Osborne, would take place within 50 days, and that has now been confirmed by the Treasury for Tuesday 22 June.
