Recruitment has risen for the sixth consecutive month and the number of job vacancies was the highest recorded since July 2007, a survey has shown.
The positive job trend continued despite the acceleration in the number of permanent and temporary placements slowing from December.
Vacancies grew for the fourth successive month and the rate of growth in the number of candidates seeking work also dropped, according to the report on jobs from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and KPMG.
