Enterprise boss Don Moore puts his firm’s award win down to a renewed focus on customer service, in what he predictably describes as a tough year.
The firm’s focus on its clients (including elements such as a rental versus grey fleet reimbursement calculator and a culture of promoting from within to create a team with plenty of experience of the company) has obviously had the desired effect, with Enterprise picking up the award as top rental company.
Moore said Enterprise has been better-placed to handle the recession than some of its rivals as it is privately owned. “We looked for long-term success and a lot of companies trading on the market had to look for results immediately,” he said, with the company even growing its number of sites last year.
Enterprise is looking to 2010 as a year of serious expansion, with Moore predicting double-digit growth in both number of sites and vehicles.
